Headed for Garretstown around 3 expecting strong crossshore westerlies. Indeed it looked a bit windy from the beach so opted for the 5.4 and big wave board. Soon found the wind was full of holes and staying on the plane was hard work and not much chance of catching any jumps on the inside. Switched to the big 100ltr for extra float and planning most of the time after that. Some fairly decent jumps on the outside chop..lovely evening with wall-to-wall sunshine
